on other websites or message boards.
ü
If
you would like to post another ad, you can click on any of the 4 links above
your current posting's URL to different state, city, category, or simply to the
same category. The text at the bottom of the page tells you how you can attract
more attention to you posting by following a few simple steps.
2. When will my ad expire?
-
Free ads expire in 30 days
-
Paid ads expire in 120 days
3. How many people will see my ad?
Depending
on how well your posting is written, and how much interest is on the topic of
your ad, the number of page views may vary. Paid ads will have better
exposure than the free postings because they have better visual positioning on
our site. But even if you choose to post for free, your ad will still get
picked up by the search engine since our website is well search-engine
optimized.
By
allowing HTML in the postings, we want to put the power in your hands. You see
search engines not only look at what you write, but also how you format certain
keywords. You can put emphasis on the key words of your choice by formatting
your text accordingly in HTML, so your ad on our site will win over a similar
but unformatted ad on a different website.
4. How much does it cost to post an ad?
See
"Why Pay?" for
more information.
5. Why are there no advertisements on your site?
Because
we believe in the goodness of mankind! Just kidding. But seriously, we believe
in providing a good service that is worth paying for. We don't believe in
polluting the website with outside ads, sometimes very irrelevant, or even
competitive to our own postings. We don't think it offers value to you as
posters. Our goal is to have a visually and functionally appealing classified
ad site that is all-inclusive (as in we won't rule you out simply because you
live in a town of 1000 people).
6. Do you take donations?
Yes.
All of your paid-ads are donation to keep this great site going.
7. Who can I contact for more questions?
clientservicesmail@gmail.com
8. How do I search for ads on your site?
Click
on "Search Ads" at the top section of categories page. Type your search
key words. You can search through the major categories of your city, and even
nationwide and statewide ads.
9. How do you prevent my email address from getting into the hands
of wrong people if I write it in my posting by accident?
We want to protect you from spammers, so we mask all the email address in your posting and redirect it to our email page, so any one interested in replying to your ads will need to contact you through our site without the knowledge of your actual email.
10. What are all those cute little images at the bottom of all your
pages?
RSS
feeds and Social bookmarks! We're moving forward with the latest website
technologies to help our customers reach more people through our site. There is
an RSS feed on each page that people can subscribe to and get updates about the
postings of a particular city/town/category. You can even subscribe to RSS
feeds of search results. So instead of checking back at the site regularly, you
can simply see the updated information in your feed reader. If you are still
not sure what an RSS feed is, Wikipedia does a better job explaining
RSS FEED
As
to the rest of those little icons, they point to all the cool social bookmaking
websites where anyone who finds your posting useful can bookmark your ad page
and share their bookmarks with their friends and anyone who might be interested
in their bookmarks.
So
what does all this mean? Make your posting as interesting as possible if you
want to get noticed. Make it pretty and make it flashy!
