The Position:
Chef Works is seeking a full time Merchandise Coordinator to join our growing Point of Sales group. Selected individual will be involved stocking shelves, shop installations, display set ups, cross merchandising, executing promotional events, building relationships with store personnel, participating in product training, monitoring store sales results and preparing store visit recaps.
We offer a competitive hourly wage, and a flexible schedule to allow you to pursue academic, family or other interests. Our Merchandise Coordinators use their own vehicles, and are reimbursed for mileage and other business expenses.
Qualified Candidates should possess:
High school diploma or equivalent, college level course work in business, marketing or other related field, preferred, but not required. One year previous experience in a retail or customer service environment. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
PC proficiency in a Windows XP or above environment, to include Outlook, Excel and Word. Also required: Valid Drivers License, reliable transportation and a safe driving record.
Physical requirements include: frequent standing, bending, squatting, reaching, ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Position requires travel of up to 95% of the time, via automobile and airplane. Some overnight travel may be required.
