JDRF is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes research worldwide, was founded in 1970 by the parents of children with type 1 diabetes a disease which strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin-dependent for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. Since inception, JDRF has provided more than $1.16 million in direct funding to diabetes research. More than 80% of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education. JDRF's mission is constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
The Field Training Manager will be accountable for developing training programs and learning interventions for all Field Staff and addressing its evolving performance needs in support of our four organizational goals with focus on becoming a high performance organization.
JDRF is seeking a high performing individual who has 7+ years of field training experience in a multi-unit operation or an organization with many locations. This person must also be able to create and conduct training sessions in a virtual or web-based capacity. Experience in delivering and designing team building, change management interventions, competency studies, career development, conflict management, ethics and diversity are also required. The ideal candidate is a diverse individual who can work with all levels of staff and volunteers, is a team player, can multi-task, has excellent communication skills, and is a self-starter. Certifications such as Meyers-Briggs and DISC are a plus.
25% travel required.
