Summary:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for the analysis and control of the manufacturing process for the production and filling of various types of cosmetic products. As well as, provide engineering expertise to optimize process systems, implement cost reduction opportunities, and assist operations and maintenance in troubleshooting new and existing processes to minimize or eliminate quality, or production problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualification of all first production fills in Asia
Process control for filling and component manufacturing
Process improvements for product filling
Support Package development with process control implementation at component manufactures
Travel (approximately 25%)
Job Related Skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Analytical and Problem solving skills
Troubleshooting techniques
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Capable of performing process engineering tasks, commensurate with experience
Minimum of 2 years in the cosmetic or related field
Knowledge of Cosmetic formula behavior a great asset
Emulsion chemistry ? basic understanding
Qualifications:
Education- BSC in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields
Min of 2 years in the cosmetic or related field
