You'll join the LimeBits team and help overturn the ancient traditions of software development. Your code analyses and vetting skills will help ensure reliable, secure operation for LimeBits users. - designing, implementing, and maintaining software from a security perspective,
- assuring data integrity, privacy, and confidentiality, assuring software integrity,
- performing risk/vulnerability assessments, scans, audits, penetration tests, and reports,
- managing security credentials, authentication, authorization, logging, intrusion detection, and auditing,
- implementing secure recovery, participating in incident response, and remediating vulnerabilities,
- developing and implementing processes for information security and risk assessment,
- driving security education, awareness, and best practices,
- planning and implementing security policies and business continuity.
QUALIFICATIONS
& EXPERIENCE: |
* Broad familiarity with all aspects of web software systems and architectures, including PC clients, network protocols, and databases.
* Browser security models and XSS vulnerabilities.
* In-depth experience with Linux/Unix security.
* Security architecture, metrics, logging, reporting. Incident investigation, diagnosis, response.
* Security analysis, risk analysis, information security risk assessment. Vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, cracking tools.
* Code security auditing, application vulnerability testing, web application security.
* Software tamper resistance/obfuscation. Reverse engineering. Intrusion detection/prevention.
* Solid knowledge of all phases of software development and deployment.
* Common network technologies and protocols, such as LDAP, DNS, SMTP.
* Programming experience with C, Postgres, MySQL, JavaScript, Perl, Apache, XML.
* Linux kernel programming, customization, and SELinux. Compiler design and implementation.
* Applied cryptography and PKI.
* Strong experience with Linux/Unix and open-source software. Interest in open-source software and content sharing.
* Development and maintenance of security policies, compliance programs, monitoring tools.
* Self-motivated, critical thinker with strong technical background. Curiosity, imagination, intuition. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
* Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Bonus: Security certification (e.g., CISSP, SANS GIAC, CISA).
* Bonus: Knowledge of WebDAV, XSLT, functional programming, or server-side JavaScript frameworks.
* Limited Criminal History (LCH) checks will be required for all finalists.
